Vacation
Beginning with the first full month of employment, all JDPR employees accrue 1 day per month of paid vacation time, equaling 12 days of paid vacation time annually. In addition to “earned” time-off, JDPR observes traditional annual holidays and gives “Bonus Days” to long-term employees to honor their years of service.
Healthcare
We offer a health plan that allows you to participate in a Group Insurance Plan. The company pays the majority of the monthly premium for this plan with each employee contributing a small monthly percentage towards the premium. Each employee has the option of choosing a PPO (Preferred Provider Network Plan) or HSA (Health Savings Account).
Retirement
After an employee has completed one (1) year of service with the company, he/she qualifies for the company’s 401K program. Employees may defer up to 15% of their salary, annually. The company will match with a one-dollar contribution each dollar contributed by an employee, up to 6% of an employee’s salary.
Education
Jeff Dezen Public Relations believes that “learning” is a lifelong process and is committed to support those employees who take the time to further their education by learning new skills and/or pursuing a degree. Jeff Dezen Public Relations will reimburse an employee 100% of the cost(s) for taking any work-related class or seminar that one wants to pursue. These costs include enrollment fees and/or tuition. Incidental costs such as books, in-class supplies and travel to and from venue, etc. are not included.
Family Leave Policy
Our Family Leave Policy allows for an employee to take a maximum of 14 days off from work to allow him/her to assist an immediate family member with a health care issue such as the birth of a child or a serious illness. All other benefits are not affected when an employee engages the Family Leave Policy.
Maternity Leave
At Jeff Dezen Public Relations, family matters are to be respected as an integral part of an employee’s motivation, health and general well being. Our Maternity Leave Policy applies to women only and allows for a total of 90 days off without affecting any of the other benefits that Jeff Dezen Public Relations offers.
Creative Renewal Benefit
The purpose of this benefit is to inspire employees to bring added vigor, enthusiasm and dynamism to their job and life. A Creative Renewal day is intended to be more relaxing than a day in a purely academic environment for professional development, yet more stimulating than a vacation day. An employee is allowed one Creative Renewal day for every six months they work at Jeff Dezen Public Relations.
