GREENVILLE, S.C. – Leading strategic marketing-communications agency JDPR continues an upward climb as they expand the team with a well-deserved promotion and two promising additions. Grace Daughtry, who has been a member of JDPR for two years, was recently promoted to senior account executive. Troy Dassing joined as an account executive and MaKayla Renner as operations & administration manager.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in communication at the College of Charleston, Daughtry worked at a global public relations agency, headquartered in Manhattan, before joining JDPR. During her time there, she supported the healthcare division, with a focus on pharmaceuticals, specifically assisting with content development and messaging. Her experience crafting eye-catching materials and understanding media dynamics has been essential to her career and has made her an invaluable asset to JDPR. Daughtry primarily works with JDPR’s B2B and consumer clients, focusing on compliance and reputation management across highly-regulated industries. During her two years at JDPR, Daughtry has excelled in her role, consistently demonstrating exceptional dedication and commitment.
Entering JDPR as an account executive, Dassing is an Emmy Award-winning producer with a bachelor’s in broadcast journalism and communications from the University of South Carolina. With a strong background in newsrooms and strategic communications, Dassing brings experience from WYFF News 4 and a national creative and advertising agency where he worked on several national and international brands. Dassing’s proficiency in championing large brands equips him to lead JDPR’s outdoor power equipment and professional trade clients. At JDPR, he will have the opportunity to leverage his professional edge to create media opportunities that connect clients, journalists and their audiences.
Another exciting addition, Renner, joins the team as JDPR’s operations & administration manager. With more than seven years of administrative and HR experience, and extensive training in a wide variety of essential operational areas, Renner supports the agency’s leadership and client service team. By implementing new systems, organizing internal records and providing financial tracking support, Renner is instrumental in elevating JDPR’s efficiency. Currently, Renner is pursuing her Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional certification.
“As JDPR continues to grow, innovate and lead, it’s exciting to support this growth by expanding our team,” said Matt Lochel, president & CEO of JDPR. “Grace’s promotion, and the addition of Troy and MaKayla, are strategic moves that support JDPR’s mission to elevate brands. Their additions will benefit our clients and our agency for years to come.”
