JDPR elevates tenured team member and welcomes new talent

Wendy Henry promoted to senior director of content innovation and earned media; Liz Maly joins as head of paid media.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Leading strategic marketing-communications agency JDPR continues to strengthen and expand its team with the promotion of a tenured employee and addition of new talent. Industry veteran Wendy Henry, who has been with JDPR for 11 years, was recently promoted to senior director of content innovation and earned media. Liz Maly, who has worked in the industry for more than 20 years, has joined JDPR as head of paid media.

Henry has led numerous account teams since joining JDPR as a senior account executive in 2015. Most notably, supporting JDPR’s lifestyle group consisting of a range of clients from Verizon to Springbrook Autism Behavioral Health. In Henry’s new role, she manages the agency’s content strategy across its client portfolio, working with client teams to drive earned media success. She will also be pioneering innovative opportunities for JDPR to deliver measurable business impact. Henry is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, nationally published journalist with more than 28 years of industry experience and was recently honored as one of SCBiz’s “Top 100 Women.

Maly joins the JDPR team with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry spanning digital strategy, public relations, campaign management and paid media planning. Most recently, she worked at Verizon as a senior communications manager. As head of paid media at JDPR, Maly leads strategy, performance optimization and ROI-driven planning for the agency’s paid media initiatives. Her approach goes beyond execution, aligning strategy with action, ensuring clients achieve their goals while maximizing impact. Maly obtained her undergrad in print journalism from the University of St. Thomas and her MBA from Strayer University.
