Greenville, SC – Jeff Dezen Public Relations announces the recent addition of W. Thomas
Catoe as an intern as part of the marketing and communication agency’s Executive Management Assistance Program (EMAP) for Fall 2021. Irene Biganzoli and Brooke Fletcher, who served as interns for the summer semester, will also be extending their internships with JDPR for the fall semester.
“JDPR is thrilled, not only to expand our team, but to inspire a new generation of aspiring public
relations professionals with fresh eyes and attitudes. Consistent with our familial environment,
our team values the opportunity to both teach and learn from the interns we hire,” said Jeff
Dezen.
Catoe is a senior at Clemson University pursuing his Bachelor of the Arts in Communication
with a minor in Brand Communications. On campus, he is involved in the Clemson University
Undergraduate Student Government, LGBTQIA+ Engagement Committee, and serves as the
president of Clemson’s all-male acapella group, Tigeroar. Additionally, Catoe works for
Cadency Student Agency as a brand researcher and strategist for brands such as Clemson
Inclusion and Equity and Sanofi. With his degree, Catoe hopes to enter the communications field in an agency setting, similar to JDPR. “The JDPR team has been so welcoming and insightful thus far,” said Catoe. “I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and develop my experience as a brand communicator under an agency that is eager to teach.”
Fletcher is also a senior Communication major at Clemson with a minor in both psychology and
sociology, and is scheduled to graduate this December. While expanding her network through
JDPR, she works with a number of additional clients PR Student Society of America Press
Release Committee and serves as the events coordinator for Clemson’s Fellowship of Christian
Athletes (FCA). In 2021, Fletcher received the Award of Excellence in Civic Leadership from
the Department of Communication at Clemson. “I’m excited to announce that I will be extending my time with JDPR and completing Level II of their EMAP Internship,” wrote Fletcher. “I’ve learned so much already from the JDPR team, and can’t wait to dive deeper into the field of strategic communication/public relations over the course of this fall.”
Biganzoli, a senior Communications Mass Media major at the University of South Carolina Upstate with a double-minor in Business & Entrepreneurship and French. During her
undergraduate career, she has accumulated experience in strategic communications through
additional marketing and public relations internships in Greenville at Rieter in Winterthur,
Zurich, Switzerland. Biganzoli has also held social media management positions with PULP
Magazine in Atlanta, Georgia, and The Carolinian student newspaper at USC Upstate.
